Combined Laser Foam Therapy (also known as the KLF method or hybrid procedure) is a modern, minimally invasive approach to treating varicose veins and in particular cosmetically unpleasant small varicose veins such as spider veins and reticular varicose veins.
It combines the strengths of two established procedures: Laser therapy and foam sclerotherapy.
The KLF method combines two different mechanisms of action to achieve a better aesthetic and functional result than would often be possible with individual therapy. Treatment is usually carried out on an outpatient basis.
