Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with the risk increasing exponentially with age (mean age of onset is over 70).
As the tumor initially grows silently, it can only be detected early through annual screening (palpation and PSA test if necessary). Only an early diagnosis guarantees the best chances of recovery.
Screening for prostate cancer is recommended from the age of 45.
